Narrow Band vs Wide Band — which do I have?
Narrow band and wide band O2 sensors are not interchangeable — using the wrong type will cause incorrect fuel trim, poor running, and ECU fault codes. Narrow band sensors are the standard fitment on most Indmar EFI engines — if your engine originally came with a narrow band sensor always replace like for like. If unsure contact us before ordering.

Sealed configuration — why it matters:
The sealed design protects the sensor element from water ingestion — critical in the marine exhaust environment where water injection into the exhaust system is standard practice on Indmar engines. A non-sealed sensor in a marine exhaust application will fail prematurely from water exposure.
